There are moments in a writer’s journey that feel quietly monumental.
Receiving a published review from Windy City Reviews (Chicago Writers Association) for In glimpses & reminisces is one of those moments for me.
When I wrote this collection, I was thinking about truth. About memory. About love, longing, loss, and the small interior moments we often carry alone. I wrote from a place of tenderness and honesty, not knowing who might find themselves reflected in those pages.
To have the work read, engaged with, and thoughtfully reviewed by a respected literary organization feels deeply affirming.
“Green does not shy away from raw emotions, and the collection is all the better for her willingness to confront moments in her relationships and life’s journey that were either fraught with conflict or filled with tenderness.”
“She captures the universality of what it means to have loved and lost and to also come out on the other side … like a strong melody.”

If you are new to my work, In glimpses & reminisces is a contemporary poetry collection exploring emotional intimacy, womanhood, healing, and the complexity of love in all its forms. It is a book for readers who appreciate reflective, lyric-driven writing and emotionally resonant storytelling.
