Most Known Unknown

The hardest part of this all...

Is the unknown

The many unknown unknowns that occurred

Unbeknownst to us before you left

And all of the unknowns concerning the condition and place of your soul

The destination or travel of your spirit

The unknown as to what the future holds

While holding space for you and the unknown of when

And if you will come to me in a dream again

The unknown of this life and thereafter

The unknown of how this will all play out

And if

Justice will be our portion

But there is no justice without you...

Here...

The unknown of (wondering)

If you can see us down here

The constant uncertainty and unknowing of

When will my mind next play tricks on me

What more will I second guess, what will I see that will not truly be

Where does my imagination take me and how many more scenarios and conversations

Of you

With you

To you

Will I create in my head.... unknowing if you will hear me...

The greatest unknown is that we never know...

Despite it all, I love you immensely and find gratitude in having known you

That is one known thing that makes all of these unknowns worthwhile
