"All I need is One MIC, One beat, One stage....One God to show me how to do things His Son did" -Nas
In life, there are certain things that come up in our careers, love, finances and friendships that often lead us to believe that all we need is "one more this, or one more that" to make a good situation great or a great situation the best. However what I have found is that the true things that we need as we press on to live our best lives and become our best selves is 1. A pure relationship with God 2. To speak "life" into what we want.
The "One MIC" that we were all born with is our ability given to us by God to use our words as an outline for our dreams, hopes and desires. The words we use and the circumstances that we claim can either bring life or death to us, I read somewhere that simply put: "we are what we speak". So it's best to speak prosperity, joy, abundance in every area of our lives and ask for wisdom and discernment. The best thing in my opinion about this all is that no-one else has the power to speak such a great amount of life into our lives than ourselves. Of course others may pray for and counsel us but when it's all said and done we are the only ones in control of our lives as we allow the Father to order our steps.....
Just thinking of this makes me smile; I am honored by God's grace to present myself to the world. Every day I'm blessed to stand on life's stage well lit by the sun, walk up to the MIC and proclaim the life that I want, knowing that it will come to pass and that my prayers will be answered in divine timing. Whatever decisions you may be on the verge of making or whatever "one more thing" you may think that you need, please keep in mind that the only person able to cultivate the life and relationships that you want: is YOU. The only requirements are having God first and to speak, believe and walk into your greatness.
I hope that these words were in some way a blessing to you.
Loving Living this Life,
Candace
