Qualified!

Heyyy family!

It’s been a little bit, as recent times have been interesting, new, challenging, uncertain and maybe even a bit chaotic for us all. Through this my hope is that despite of, each of you have found some light throughout the darkness, some way to use what you have already amid the chaos to still make, view and experience life and yourself for what it really is; a beautiful journey, one that will open doors to more discovery if you are open to it.

Which brings me to this morning at 6:44am, I am still processing the revelation that I had yesterday evening and mapping out how to get the visions from inside of my mind to fruition. As human beings, we all have a desire to be approved, validated or positioned in a way that will serve as proof of who we are or how substantial our life is. My being an over-achiever and my own worst critique (at times) probably has this need to heightened degree. Well, as I was processing career, education and entrepreneurship yesterday, I came to a few conclusions. I can either continue “knocking on doors” hoping that some company extends me the opportunity to the promotion, position and increase that I know I’m well qualified for, keep searching for a corporation to validate my expertise OR I can make the choice to validate myself!

I choose the latter!

Others’ opinions of me, my credentials, acumen, etc. are not more important nor more accurate than my opinion, understanding and knowledge about myself and what I bring to any setting that I’m in. I have the knowledge base, charisma and credentials to employ them in advancing my own career, dreams, goals and turn them into powerful pursuits. All that needs to be done is to use what I already have, use what I already know and go forth in confidence, expecting God’s grace as He has graced, appointed & catapulted my life over the years.

The Bible even tells us; (1 Peter 4:10) to use the gifts we have to serve others ...and again (Proverbs 31:16-18) consider a field and buy it; plant a vineyard, set about work vigorously; see that your trading is profitable, remain diligent and productive.

I invite you today to take a really good look at yourself and see the greatness within you that may not be recognized by traditional standards and truly recognize yourself. Acknowledge everything that is YOU, look at your gifts, talents, possessions and see how they can be used to serve others and bring prosperity and right positioning into your life, whether it be financially, relationally or in any area that you feel can use an influence and spark that only YOU can offer. Make choices that will edify your spirit and set you up to reach your goals and of course shake off the negative words used to discourage or disqualify you, you are qualified already, as soon as the vision or dream comes to you, that’s the qualifier. Next steps are choices, faith and consistency to see it through.

I hope that you take this to heart from this day forward, and together the next time we seek any sort of external validation it will only be for parking. ;)
