Good Morning!!! I hope that your day is off to a good start and you are feeling vibrant, well and able to conquer today! I wanted to share with you a few things that I did differently this morning that I believe have set the the tone for my day.

After going to God in prayer, thanking him for another day; I sat down on my vanity chair, held the mirror near and looked myself deep in my eyes. I simply repeated “Candace, you are valuable, I appreciate you, I hear and see you, I love you!” Affirming this to myself gave me an extra pep in my step and I believe that the self- love and energy spilled over positively and lovingly to my daughters as well. I seemed to get a few more smiles this morning! :)

Now, I typically read a bible verse daily as well but today’s really resonated with me. Psalms 40:1-2, which states that God hears our cries and will bring is out of a horrible ditch then giving us a firm place to stand! -Wow! That’s exactly what I needed to read and looking at my journey over the last few months, I see that’s precisely what He’s done in my life and continues to do.

I’m hoping that this share encourages you and that you’ll find the time to affirm yourself, thank God in all things and see His promises play out in your life. Even when you continue to pray and continue to cry out, with no sign of change or answers, keep going! Things always turn around.
