Holiday Blessings

Christmas Eve-

Today is a good day, I work until 1-pm, then off handle last minute errands, wrap some gifts and then home with my beautiful family.

I am so grateful for today and although the Holidays can be a time of stress there have been many reasons to smile. It’s all about perspective and shifting! God granted my family, myself and those that I love with another day and the opportunity to share another Holiday together. This week, I’ve seen people stand in my corner that will uplift when I fall and hold my hand when I need support. The warmth and embrace has been remarkable.

Daily, I am thankful and more intentional with my efforts as every day is a gift! This is especially important to remember during the hustle and bustle of the “Season”. Someone asked; “What will I teach my girls about Christmas” and my answer is that I will teach them that on this day our Lord and Savior was born and this Holiday is for praise, peace, fellowship and giving.

When they get older, we will factor in volunteering as part of our Holiday tradition, as serving others also spreads love and joy!
