Try... Again!

Hey Family!

It's been a little while, I shouldn't of left you, without a dope beat to step to! lol

I'm hoping that all is well in your world and that you feel magnificent and absolutely powerful despite any external circumstances. One thing that I know for sure is that we don't have to allow everything into our personal atmosphere. I pray that you've been selective about what and who you let in, as for myself.... I only want positivity, wellness, God's love, grace and supernatural abundance for YOU!

You are probably like, "Yeah girl, I receive all of that!" As you should. "But where ya been?"

What if I told you that I experienced a resurrection? No, seriously.

You would want to know, what in the world?? Well, I believe that I did.

Many of you may know from following my blog since last year that I started this platform to share my experiences with mental health with you (check out that blog here: https://www.candacegreen.net/post/postpartum-anxiety-update) and also to journal my struggles and victories to an audience that would benefit from witnessing hard times being overcome! Throughout my journey to the other side of depression and anxiety, I also found myself needing to re-learn, re-invent and re-create myself. I was so lost! Lost, but still a dreamer and highly ambitious.

In August, I finally started to live again at the age of 37, 3 months shy of my 38th birthday.

The shift began with changing my diet and fitness regime (which I discuss in future posts) and rounded-off with picking back up the goal(s) that were put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Today, I truly feel like there is NOTHING that I can't do..... and umpteen vision boards, goal lists, doubt, inspiration, encouragement, insert doubt again, 21-hour days, juggling the kids, commuting, cooking/cleaning, full-time work and more work... I am now officially a business owner!!

My brick and mortar baby was born on October 5, 2020 and introduced to the public at or Pre-opening Event on November 7th! The opulent N'DACE boutique for women's apparel, shoes and accessories is HERE, it's alive, it's alive lol and I'm believing that N'DACE is an emerging retail powerhouse! WHEW, that felt good.

I took a risk on my dream, had faith in God and started to shift my thinking, after-all, I can't preach to my daughters; "You can do ANYTHING", without saying that to myself and believing it. Honey, the resurrection is real!! I feel like I have the opportunity to become and BE any version of myself that my heart desires. Was this easy, No!

Honestly, if you put ALL of the tasks, correspondence, finances, expenses, sleepless nights, paperwork, research, etc. all in a pile in front of me at on time, oh I would have been afraid to even get started, I would have said; "Never mind Candace, pick another goal on your list"... but that's the thing about God, His word says; "to whom much has been given, much will be required (Luke 12:48)" and if you allow Him, He will show you the steps to take, your path bit by bit, He will preview little glimpses of the end result to you, just enough to keep you excited and on pace. He will lead you and make accommodations for you that you wouldn't have anticipated and equip you with the courage to ask for things that you routinely wouldn't.

He will also do this: He will get you soooo close to your dream being tangible that He will test you to see how bad you truly want it. He'll go silent!

...And then it's all on you girl! Your free-will kicks in, you move forward or you retreat! And let me tell you, I know ALL about what moving forward AND what retreating looks and feels like. Going backwards was not an option and as they say, when it's YOUR time, its YOUR time.

So girlfriend, I ask you.... what kind of resurrection do you need in your life?

You are a solution to a crisis

You are a pillar in your community

You are powerful beyond measure and

You are a role model to many!

It's time for you to get your passion back and create all that you dream of. Trust me, it's ALL attainable, maybe not all at once or at your projected time, but it can happen and WILL.

Remember, we only have this one life, let's live it boldly! Let's not wait until we are in our later years to start writing a "bucket list" that we don't even plan to live out... do it now (safely, social distantly and wearing a mask of course *wink).
